New York, New York

   Posted by: Stefan

I spent the last 3 days with Tanya in Manhattan, which could have been my new favorite city now, if it wouldn’t be so freezing cold. But life there is just amazing. We always came back late in the night (or early in the morning) and there were still so many people out on the streets having a great time.

Besides the usual sight seeing and lots of good food, we went to New York for Pavi’s bachelorette party and also to Sophie’s farewell. This crazy, little French girl is going to climb Mount Everest within the next two months.

This weekend I went on a camping trip to Big Sur with a bunch of friends. Some nice hikes on Saturday, singing, drinking and dancing around the campfire during the night and an awesome beach on Sunday.

Here are more pictures.

Mud surfing

Good food, kite mud boarding and more good food.

The tide in the bay was so low today, that we had to walk through knee-deep mud to get to the water. Unfortunately we needed to go the same way back.

Jim Russell Racing Drivers School

First we got some lessons from our personal instructors and later on we had a little race against each other. I took some videos on the track, but unfortunately they didn’t turn out as nice as I hoped. So just some random pictures.

Nob Hill – my new neighborhood

   Posted by: Stefan

Nob Hill is an affluent district, home to many of the city’s old money families. Sometimes it is sarcastically referred to as Snob Hill (in fact, “nob” was a 19th century slang term synonymous with “snob”). The area was settled in the rapid urbanization happening in the city in the late 19th century.
