Big Sur
This weekend I went on a camping trip to Big Sur with a bunch of friends. Some nice hikes on Saturday, singing, drinking and dancing around the campfire during the night and an awesome beach on Sunday.

I spent the last 3 days with Tanya in Manhattan, which could have been my new favorite city now, if it wouldn’t be so freezing cold. But life there is just amazing. We always came back late in the night (or early in the morning) and there were still so many people out on the streets having a great time.
Besides the usual sight seeing and lots of good food, we went to New York for Pavi’s bachelorette party and also to Sophie’s farewell. This crazy, little French girl is going to climb Mount Everest within the next two months.

Today we went out to Sonoma [map] in Marin County and had quite some fun at the Jim Russell Racing Drivers School, the oldest driving school in the USA. First we got some lessons from our personal instructors and later on we had a little race against each other. I took some videos on the track, but unfortunately they didn’t turn out as nice as I hoped. So just some random pictures.
Nob Hill is an affluent district, home to many of the city’s old money families. Sometimes it is sarcastically referred to as Snob Hill (in fact, “nob” was a 19th century slang term synonymous with “snob”).
