We actually planed on going to Tofino [map] on Vancouver Island, but the rain was so heavy that we decided to cancel this trip and stay in Victoria, the capital of British Columbia, for two days before heading back to Vancouver.

Sunshine Coast
Felix arrived and usually he is the living evidence of Murphy’s law for anything that can go wrong. But in this case he actually managed to do something great. In the bus from the airport he ran into George Payerle, a writer who lives in Robert’s Creek at the Sunshine Coast. He and his wife Phyllis have a beautiful house there and they invited us to visit them. So we went there for some kayaking and hiking and also lots of good talks.

After a day in Seattle we arrived in Vancouver. Tanya is gone. But my buddy Felix just arrived, after living a year in Australia.
