8 Secrets to Success
I just stumbled upon one of my all-time favorite TED talks again and wanted to share it with the world.
Not that we don’t know all these “secrets” already, but sometimes it’s just good to get reminded again and receive a new push. We all have many great ideas, but the reason we fail to succeed is mostly due to a lack of execution and self-organization, the ability to focus and the effort to put in the “hard work”. My friend Jem Moore, a character who had quite some success himself, pointed me to this quote by Thomas Edison, which summarizes it all in one sentence:
“Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.”
