Vegas, baby!

Well, it’s my last day in Las Vegas. I’ve been here for quite a week right now. And it was awesome! The gambling areas in the casinos are more or less the same and also pretty boring, but all the other stuff around is so amazing. It’s just a walk of a 1/4 mile and the exciting world around you changes in an entire different one. Every casino has its on unique ambiance with public shows: the enormous MGM Grand (the world’s largest hotel) with its Lion habitat, the Venetian with a maze of canals, the Paris with a replica of la tour Eiffel, the Manhattan skyline at New York, New York, the Mirage with an erupting volcano and white tigers, the shark reef at Mandalay Bay, the incredible view from the Stratosphere Tower and last but not least the gorgeous fountains at the Belliago.

Vegas is definitely worth a trip. Especially if you meet such nice people like Cindy and Andy. Andy is a professional gambler, making his money with baseball bets. They life together in a luxurious condo in Tower 1 at The Signature, one of the recently completed three towers at the MGM Grand. And this is where they hosted me for 5 days. Folks, I can tell you, this was an experience. They invited me to the buffet where we got free food and beverages and I also got access to the amazing pool of the MGM grand with its own ornamental river. I also met Geri and Jochen, two Germans who currently travel through the States, and Mandy, a girl with a good heart, who took me out of Vegas for a trip to the Red Rocks. Besides these five guys I met many more nice people and I hope to see some of them again.

I’m pretty sure, that this wasn’t my last trip to Vegas.
